Acts chapter 20 verse 7 through 12 in the passion translation of the scriptures notice there

these words on Sunday we gathered to take communion and to hear Paul preach because he was

planning to leave the next day he continued speaking until past midnight. That's a long sermon.

There were many flickering lights in the upstairs chambers where we were meeting.

This may not only refer to the candles that might have been flickering,

but it's actually a reference to angelic presence in the building.

And sitting in an open window listening was a young man named Eutychus.

As Paul's sermon dragged on, Euticus became drowsy and fell into a deep slumber.

Sound asleep, he fell three stories to his death below.

And Paul went downstairs and bent over the boy and embraced him and taken him in his arms.

He said to all the people gathered, stop your worrying. He's come back to life.

He was raised from the dead and Paul went back upstairs, served communion and ate a meal with him.

And then he picked back up where he left on and taught until dawn. My God, Paul, what are you talking about?

Filled with enormous joy, they took the boy home alive,

and everyone was encouraged.
