I would like for us to read

I would like for us to read together from the

Gospels first from Matthew Chapter 27 and then if you'll

place your finger in John Chapter 20, I want to read a few of the first verses there in the 20th chapter from the last part

of Matthew 27 and then the first few verses of John chapter 20.

Matthew 27, beginning at verse 55,

and many women were looking on from a distance who followed Jesus from Galilee ministering to him.

Among whom was Mary Magdalene, along with Mary, the mother of James and Joseph, and the mother of the sons of Zebedee.

And when it was evening, there came a rich man from Aramathia named Joseph who himself had also become a disciple of Jesus.

This man came to Pilate and asked for the body of Jesus.

Then Pilate ordered it to be given over to him.

And Joseph took the body and wrapped it in a clean linen cloth and laid it in his own new tomb which he had hewn out in the rock and

he rolled a large stone against the entrance of the tomb and went away.

And Mary Magdalene was there and the other Mary sitting opposite the grave.
