Hello and welcome back to the podcast. If you are watching this, the weekend this comes out,

0:10.2

it is Valentine's Day weekend. So happy Valentine's Day. We're going to start the episode by

0:16.6

talking about our Valentine's plans and also requesting that after this Valentine's Day,

0:22.2

if for some reason, we hope you don't, but if you do have a shady experience to please write it in

0:27.6

for next week's episode. And we're going to start with something kind of a little shady,

0:32.6

and it's part of my plan for this weekend. I am seething. I am seeing weathering heights. And apparently, I've seen a lot of hype

0:43.3

around the movie, but apparently it's set to get a 72% on Rotten Tomatoes, which is not that great.

0:50.8

So I'm kind of wondering like what happened. Yeah. I also feel the need to explain,

0:54.9

and we've talked about this before, but I just looked it up again because I always get confused

0:58.2

about the Rotten Tomatoes ratings. So basically, Tomatoes scores represent the percentage of

1:05.2

approved professional critics who give a film either a positive or a negative review. So they don't rate it on like a one to a

1:14.5

hundred or whatever. It's just positive or negative. And then they take the percentage based on that.

1:20.5

So anything under a 60% is considered like rotten. Basically like in if you fail you fail you know what I

1:28.4

mean so it's 60% or lower is rotten and then anything above 60 is like not rotten but

1:35.0

also is kind of crazy for a drop-off right yeah I guess but I mean 72% isn't much higher

1:42.0

than that so it's basically like literally a grade in school.

1:46.1

That's kind of how you have to view it.

1:47.3

So this would be like a C.

1:49.3

So I'm interested to see if it's going to be good or not.

1:53.7

But yeah, that's our Valentine's Day plans.

1:57.4

I heard maybe you might be going to movies.

2:00.5

I might be going to the movies. I love going to the movies. I love going to the movies.
