Hey, cats and kittens. This is where I would normally bring you Apple News.

Instead today I bring you an apology. I was not as careful with my time on Wednesday as I might have been and unfortunately

that means no show for Thursday no Mac OS can show for Thursday I do have a show for you. I actually have a couple. There's Mission Log, but there's a little point in talking about Mission Log here.

Since this is a tech news show, so how about a little tech talk instead?

The guys from the checklist and I did our Thursday show this week.

On this week's checklist, we are covering the sharing preferences built into the Mac.

I'll tell you one thing I love about doing the checklist.

I learned something with just about every show we do.

And I really think it's an excellent

show. Look, maybe you're an old hand. I mean you're listening to an Apple new

show, right? You may think you know as much as you need to know about

security and maybe you do. If you get a friend or a

family member who's constantly bugging you, you know that one family member who

writes to you every now and then says I've been hacked, you know, because we've got those now in our families I'll bet half the people

listening have at least one of those people in their family no just me

fine anyway tell your friends me. Fine.

Anyway, tell your friends and family members about the checklist,

because even if you know what you need to know about security,

I promise you there's a lot of stuff there

that a lot of people do need to know.
