Amy just returned from a seven-night eastern Caribbean cruise on Norwegian Cruise Lines, Norwegian Aqua, the third in the prima class, and she joins us on the line.

Hi.

I was trying to remember our first time chatting, you sailed NCL. When was that?

Wow, it's already been two years. That's insane.

I know. Yeah, so I'm excited to see what your thoughts are going from, you know, Alaska to the Caribbean with NCL. But before we do that, we'll take a step back. What made you want to take this seven-nighter on Norwegian Aqua? Leading up to the holidays, I don't want to bring a sad story in it, but we lost my mom this past year, and that was kind of like the last person, you know, in my immediate family. And I always thought that I would want to take a cruise on during Christmas. You know, once my mom passed, just the four of us, my husband and two kids, I thought that'd be a good way to have our first Christmas together, something different. I've always wanted to see a cruise ship all decorated for Christmas. I think it would be really pretty. And my college age son said that he wasn't interested in that at all. He wanted to be at home. So I wanted to respect his wishes. You know, you never know how long they're going to be home for Christmas. I wanted to stay home with him, but then I thought, well, hey, we'll just go the week

after. Well, actually, we left the fourth. But because he'll still be home for college, he can watch my teenage daughter. So it worked out. So just my husband and I went. It all worked out. So you're in the Nashville area. You made your way down from Tennessee to Miami. Any pre-cruise time? Yes, we like to always fly down a day early, just get our vacation started early.

Yeah, we took like a 5 o'clock flight.

We were in Miami all day.

It was great.

So we, just to let you know to get to Miami, we stayed in South Beach, to go from the airport to South Beach, you can take a public bus.

It's actually only $2.25 from the airport.

So I was thinking we would do that, save, hey, you can save money wherever you can.

But it actually takes about an hour to hour and a half to get there.

And we are at this time, we were hungry and tired, you know, still like mid-morning.
