Summary

A trade deadline look at the Blazers, Thunder, Wolves, Jazz, and Nuggets.  Will the Blazers do anything big with their expiring contracts? Do the Thunder stay the course for the playoffs, and how do they get under the tax? The Wolves need a playmaker in the long-term, can they get one? What would make it worthwhile to move Robert Covington? Does Utah need an upgrade at backup center? And what will the Nuggets do with their restricted free agents Malik Beasley and Juancho Hernangomez? The trade deadline is swooping towards us.

0:02.8

So we're going to talk now about the Northwest Division

0:06.8

and a team that we thought would be a really interesting trade destination

0:12.2

at the start of the season has now become less so,

0:15.7

but still a team, I would say, I think they're more likely than not

0:56.2

Zonio player options that we think they're going to pick up is that so if they do all that and then

1:01.3

they keep their draft pick, the Blazers could have about 12.5 million in space.

1:05.1

Alternatively, they could trade Hassan Whiteside, who is an expiring contract,

1:10.3

making about, so about 27 million, or they could and or they could trade

1:14.7

camp baseball is making 19 and get back players who are on longer term.

1:18.4

And so basically then instead of being under the cap, they could go over,
