Summary

Time to laser in on the trade deadline with a look at the Central Division. What are the Pistons looking to get with Andre Drummond, and what about Derrick Rose and Langston Galloway? The Cavs would love to move Kevin Love, as well as their expiring contracts to take on bad money for assets, can they get that done? Milwaukee has ammo with a 1st from Indiana in the Brogdon trade, what do they need to upgrade for their championship run and who could be fits? Would it make sense for Indiana to shake things up or do they want to see how it plays out with Victor Oladipo healthy?  And do the Bulls have a second straight big trade deadline move in them? Then we get into listener comments on the Top-10 Prospects in the NBA, as we defend our lists against all comers. Ten days from now?

This early trade deadline, my body clock is all off, it's like I traveled to a foreign country every year now,

but this is like the third year of this already.

So we gotta get started and I think the best place to do it is in the central division where

0:19.6

Andre Drummond might be the biggest name who has been the discussion of trade talks.

0:25.6

Yeah, he has been and for those who are newer to this, the way we do it is division by division,

They are barely under the luxury tax right now.

0:41.7

Within $5,000 is where I'm seeing it, so that means you know, you can't even make a

0:47.0

make a 10-day signing, you can't really do, you can't really do anything outside of

0:50.6

giving your two-way guys minutes.

0:52.1

Now, that is a circumstance they can resolve itself very easily through any sort of trade where they

should salary. Also, should they clear a little bit of wiggle room, the pistons have trade exceptions

1:01.4

where 2.5 and 1.1 million, both of which expire on the deadline, and they also still have a portion

1:06.2

of their mid-level exception left. It started at 1.9 million, according to what I had,

1:11.0

and that will pro-rate, the mid-level exception starts pro-rating, reducing on January 10th,

1:15.9

so that just happened. But so if they clear some salary, there are actually ways for the pistons to add

1:20.4

plans. Yeah, and most interesting to talk about here is what the market has been for

1:25.8

drumming discussion that the hawks could be interested, but James Edwards III of the athletic

reporting that the pistons are not getting any offers with assets for drumming,
