Hi everyone, Sean Woodland here. Before we get our show started, I just wanted to take a second to

acknowledge what happened with the announcement that Malo Brian made earlier today.

We're not going to spend a lot of time talking about that on our podcast.

We're going to focus more on the competition in Africa and the team competition in

We went live about an hour after that announcement was made with Tommy Marquez, Brian Friend,

and Lauren Khalil, and discussed Malo's decision and what it meant for the women's competition.

So that's where you can find that information. But today again, we're going to focus on the first two

semifinals, Africa and North America East.

We have Africa and North America East getting a kickoff here in a matter of days. Finally,

live competition. Long time coming and we are ready for it. Yes. No more submit your videos.

No more like let's just watch people compete live. I don't want to troll a leaderboard anymore.

I want to see the action. Exactly. Okay, well, here's what we're going to talk about today.

We're going to break down the Africa semifinal and we're going to talk teams

for the North American East semifinal and we will have an episode later in the week where we will

break down the individuals because that's going to probably take us a little bit of time.

So the interest of not making you take a three hour journey into the podcast abyss, we're going

to split this thing up. But first, we got to get to a couple news bits.
