It's great to be here with Norman.

I can think a few people on this earth who have done more to educate us on the realities of

the Israel-Palestine issue than Norman Finkelstein, who's been involved for more than 40 years,

has written countless articles, many books on this topic, including his latest

on the issue was called Gaza, an inquest into its martyrdom. Norman, I want to just begin

with a general question, asking you to talk about one month into this latest Israeli assault

on Gaza. We're now talking about the most murderous

Israeli assault today.

As we're reporting this, the official toll is more than 10,000 Palestinians have been killed,

including more than 4,200 children.

And that number is more than double the amount of children that have been

killed by Israel since 1967. So in just one month, Israel has already killed, double the

number of Palestinian children that it killed since 1967. So Norman, and the hard part about these saying these figures is by the time

you say them, they're already outdated because this massacre is unfolding in real time. So Norman,

let me just begin asking you your assessment of Israel Assault one month in, what do you think

their goals are, if they really have any, beyond just extermination? And do you think their goals are if they really have any beyond just extermination.

And do you think the term genocide is appropriate?
