Summary

Sebastian Scales gets real about sexual trauma and abuse. This might be a subject many may be uncomfortable with, but when the statistics are that about 1 in 10 children will be sexually abused before they turn 18, the awareness around this issue is so important to share. With his trauma, Sebastian learned to tell the story in more of a lighthearted comedic sense of how he was sexually abused by his best friends father when he was 8 years old. He shares the details of how he brought his molester to court, how the judicial system handles these trials, and how his comedy has helped open the door for others to feel comfortable to share their own stories and trauma of sexual abuse.  Become an ad-free member at https://plus.acast.com/s/trust-and-believe-with-shaun-t.
