I'm on the phone with Brian, and on today's episode, we're going to be reviewing the

2022 horror film, Nope, written and directed by Jordan Peel, starring Daniel Kaluya, Kiki Palmer,

and Stephen Young. In this film, a pair of siblings confront some extraterrestrial forces

as they try to hold their stake onto the family farm. If you're new to our show, Brian and I

are going to have a spoiler-free discussion up front.

Brian, how high on your list was this movie for most, like, anticipated movies for the year?

This was definitely my most anticipated movie of the year, I believe.

It's hard to look back now and think about how I felt about the year before it started,

but I can't imagine another movie was higher on the list.

You had this above like Five Cream and Halloween Ends or whatever?

Yeah, Halloween Ends really plummeted on my list after Halloween kills and five cream,

you know, I was hopeful for, but I just wasn't expecting anything great. Okay, so this was like

your most anticipated film for the year? Correct. Although now I think my most anticipated, I was

telling the Discord the other day, my most anticipated film in general now is Pearl, the X prequel. Is that going to come out this year?
