All right, so we're moving from our episodes on Trinitarian theology, parallel with gender roles, and moving into more of the patriarchal system, the tradable wife, or you can call it the biblical masculinity or biblical femininity movements. So we got a guest coming on to talk about masculinity, where it's come from,

what it's responding to, kind of the cultural waters it's been in. So if you can introduce yourself,

your research interest, some of the books you've written, and how people might know you.

Sure. My name is Zachary Wagner. I go by Zach. I work as the director of programs at the

Center for Pastor Theologians, which is a nonprofit based outside of Chicago. And we host

different events, fellowships, and cohorts for pastors

and ministry leaders, trying to bridge the gap between the discipline of theology on the one

hand and on the ground needs of local church pastors on the other. I am working on my defil, my PhD at the University of Oxford. I'm in the late

stages of that working on a research project in New Testament. And I am the author of non-toxic

masculinity, I'm the author of non-toxic masculinity, recovering healthy male sexuality, which was published

with IVP in 2023.
