Summary

The way Kish Vasnani, co-founder of Nomad Lane, met his wife and fellow co founder, you could swear it was destiny. They both loved to travel and would often meet in different cities around the world for their dating rendezvous. This love of travel eventually inspired them to build a premier lifestyle travel brand. However, it wasn't until he got fired from his job, did Kish and his wife come to the conclusion that the best course of action was to bet on themselves and take a serious look at starting a joint business. In this feature, we'll follow Kish as he describes the ups and sometimes dramatic, downs of building a premier travel bag and lifestyle brand.

In Part 1 of this episode, Kish discusses Why you should bet on yourself, What are silent agreements, How they use a Blueprint method to run their business, Why you need to define boundaries when working with your wife and or co founder, How they came up with their idea, Why they started with small accessories, How a customer's feedback led them to create their first product, How they crowdfunded their 1st product and raised 2 million, How they pivoted into a travel bag brand, How crowdfunding and product issues nearly ended their business and so much more.

Join us while Ramon Vela interview Kish in Part 1 of this episode and listen to him share the inside story of a brand.
