Thanks for joining me. This is episode 143 and I apologize for getting this episode out late. This is a very busy season of life for me right now. Some of you may or may not know this, but my husband just had open heart surgery. I'll talk to you about that more when we get

to the kitchen. In case you're new to the show, this is a show where I talk you through cleaning

your house, sort of room by room, area by area. I go on some rabbit trails along the way, but the goal of the show is to keep you

focused on an area as you do your housework. And typically the episode that sometimes people call

and interrupt me when I'm trying to record. Anyway, let's get right into the episode.

By way of introduction, you may want to start a load of laundry.

That's one great way to kick off your cleaning session during busy seasons of life.

It's just important to at least get the machines running by machines.

I mean, your washing machine,

your dryer, and your dishwasher. So anyway, I might want to start a load of laundry if you

need to, or what about straightening up your front entrance area? I always feel much better when my living room,

which is on the front of the house, looks presentable. And then another thing I like to attend to right

away is making sure my house smells fresh and, you know, maybe putting in another little cube in the

wax warmer or lighting a candle,

taking out the trash, running the garbage disposal, things of that nature. Let me send my daughter

a little text message. Hang on one second. Let's see here. Yeah, so just be straightening up.

Let's see here. Okay, so in this episode, I'm going to talk about those seasons of life where you've got something going on.

I'm not talking about like a major season of life where just you're raising a baby or something.

I'm talking about these very intense time periods where there's something going on and you're just super

busy and it's hard to keep up on your daily responsibilities because that's kind of where
