Hi everyone, Ronnie here. You're listening to Clean with me, the podcast where I talk you through

cleaning your house. Thanks for joining me. You're listening to Episode 144, and I apologize for the background

siren. If you can hear that, I'm recording this episode live for sake of time. As some of you

may know, my husband had a major surgery recently, so I've been in what I call survival mode.

And currently, I'm in kind of a downtown district sitting outside of a doctor's office, and right as I started to record,, sirens went off. So I apologize for that.

And also I apologize that my voice isn't completely up to par. But let's get started with our

cleaning session. One of the first things you might want to do is straighten up the front areas of your home, maybe your immediate entryway or maybe that entire front room.

I'm not talking about a detailed deep clean.

I'm just talking about straightening up that first impression area of your home so that you can feel relaxed enough to move on to some other housework.

It's kind of how I like to kick things off.

Another thing I like to do at the beginning of a cleaning session, if you've been listening to my show, you know this, and that's start a load of laundry.

I actually learned this tip from my adult daughter.

She starts a load of laundry and then cleans her house, and then by the time her house is clean,

she switches the laundry from the washing machine into the dryer.

And I like that.

Ever since she said that, I've've been doing it and I've been talking

about it on the show so anyway do whatever it takes to gear up for your cleaning session and for you

it may be something different maybe you're not sure your house good, so you want to light a candle or start

a wax warmer. Some people do that after they clean, but I like the house to smell good while I clean.

You may also need to take out the trash, because when you're cleaning, let's face it, you're going to be

tossing stuff. So it's a good idea
