Each of us are born into a specific family, in a specific time, in a specific place.

And we unavoidably inherit all of the baggage of all of those things, all at once.

For example, our parents' worldview, regardless if it's a good one or bad one, is impressed upon us with great intensity for our entire lives, but especially our formative lives.

The time whenever our brains are making meaning out of things, are building up the foundations of what's right, what's wrong, what makes sense, what doesn't make sense, what's acceptable, what's not acceptable.

Also, the time that we're born, what's going on in the decade or two after we're born has a great influence on us.
