Commonly what I see with police officers when they come back and tell me a test is,

well, I think I had a good one. I saw the signs and indicators, but you know, they didn't

give me consent and, you know, like we, I don't know, I don't know if I should call the dog or...

So let's talk about, you've've been trained you've been to the

training program you should beginning you beginning to read case law know

where your confidentiality is one of the key factors you have to have in police officer confidence your very difficult to achieve because you have to know that if you swing and miss

they're not going to hang you out to drive and unfortunately not everybody

lives in that kind of environment in law enforcement. There's nothing I can do to

change that your agency. You to understand that that's the culture

and that essentially has to change when the top changes until that happens they're

not going to understand or maybe there's a lack of communication of what you're

trying to do but what you're trying to do.

But if you're getting to that point, you have the right administrative support in place

and you're second guessing on what to do, you know what, you're going to have to move forward.

You're going to have to trust the litmus test that we give you the look back,

the indicative signs of nervousness, and you're going to have to say to yourself,
