No rush. Yeah. No rush. I'm not talking about being complacent or lazy or even slow.

I'm just saying no rush. We often find ourselves under a certain spirit.

One that feels necessary in the moment?

You know, it tricks us into thinking we need to operate at this frantic pace, but this is just an illusion.

A rushful spirit is a foolish spirit.

I'm not talking about those times when you're racing to catch a flight or get the kids ready in the morning.

That's different.

I'm talking about the unnecessary rush we impose on ourselves this constant state of urgency, you know, constant panic. This spirit robs us of,

you know, like genuine rest, robs us of a sound mind. The mind is always far ahead or

too far behind in its regrets or in its worries. We're not here right now

in the present moment not realizing, oh my, feel that breath. That's life right there. It truly

robs us and causes us to miss the simplicity and the beauty and what we are doing. A rushful

spirit is an anxious spirit and a rushful spirit simply lacks faith.

Imagine rushing a seed to grow.

Well, we do this in society, don't we?

We abuse our soil and our crops to produce food faster.

And what happens? We get less nourishing food. Pesticides.

Man, a lot of apples and pears, if I eat them, my throat gets all itchy.

I hate it. But now if the intention was because we need to make sure everyone is fed,

okay, I get it, we need more food, it's noble.

But this abuse, really, I truly think, is more rooted in profit.

And we often do the same thing to ourselves. We abuse ourselves for whatever self-imposed
