We have to do this every day if we have any hope of understanding what it is God wants

to happen.

In our lives, for any given day, welcome.

Alright, we are diving into Romans chapter 14 today and yesterday we started with verse

number 1 to kind of set the context for what the Apostle Paul is speaking about.

And what he is talking about is when a new believer comes into the family.

How are we who are already believers to treat that person?

What kind of reception should they receive?

And he says we are to welcome them, but he gives a little caveat about what that welcome

should not be like.

He says we should not be welcoming them into the family in order to quarrel over opinions.

Now I don't know about you, but my experience in the church has been on one in which I

have experienced lots of contexts where there is quarreling over opinions between believers.

Could be about the color of the pain on the walls could be about some doctrinal issue

sometimes, but the point Paul's making here is that people who come into the faith brand

new don't know much about Christianity, don't have a church background.

They're going to have a lot of things wrong, right?

Their behaviors, their thinking about things, their mindset, all kinds of things are going
