Hello, my friends, and welcome back to the morning mindset, time for us to get our minds aligned.

Get our minds aligned today with the truth of God so that we can live this day in alignment

with Him, and that's the way that's going to make a difference in our world.

We are in Romans chapter 14 today, and we are looking at the teaching of the Apostle Paul

on the issue of how should mature, grown, long time believers in Christ relate to those

who are new to the faith.

And Paul says in verse one, we should welcome them.

We should be excited when someone new comes into the family, but we should not welcome them

to argue and dispute over matters of opinion.

And that phrase, that definition matters of opinion matters a lot in the context we're

going to get into today.

Because there are ways and times in which we take this issue of not judging and not disputing

and disagreeing about things way too far.

Because Paul is talking about matters of opinion, but we sometimes take it into matters of

teaching from Scripture.

And we say, well, I shouldn't try to correct someone in the way they're living or believing

because then I would be judging them.

But the reality is if Scripture has laid it out clearly, that's not you judging them.

That is God judging them by the definition of what he has said is acceptable behavior

for believers in Christ.

And for us to come alongside and point out to someone that their behavior is not matching

what God has already said, that's not a matter of judgment.
