Go with me, please, to Ephesians the fourth chapter, a series we've been on for a few weeks now.

In Ephesians 4, 23, I'm going to read this in the CEV, the contemporary English version.

It says, let the spirit change your way of thinking.

How many think that's a good idea?

Let the spirit change how you think and make you into a new person.

You are created to be like God, and so you must please him and be truly holy.

We're part of the same body.

Stop lying.

Would you need to write to Christians?

Because these are the saints at Ephesus and tell them to stop lying.

Lying is a major problem throughout the earth.

Stop lying and start telling each other the truth.

Don't get so angry that you sin.

Don't go to bed angry.

And don't give the devil a chance. The title of our series is give no place to the devil based on this 27th verse. Neither give place to the devil.

25, so then get rid of lies,

speak the truth to each other.

of the same body. Be angry without sinning.

So that's possible, isn't it?

To get mad, but not miss it.
