JOHN 13:18-20 - I am not speaking of all of you; I know whom I have chosen. But the Scripture will be fulfilled, ‘He who ate my bread has lifted his heel against me.’ 19 I am telling you this now, before it takes place, that when it does take place you may believe that I am he. 20 Truly, truly, I say to you, whoever receives the one I send receives me, and whoever receives me receives the one who sent me.”

| 0:27.9 | Today we're going to be looking at the gospel of John chapter 13 verses 18 through 20. |
| 0:34.2 | So if you have a copy of the scriptures with you, pull it out. |

| 0:38.1 | You've got to have get that thing pulled up John 13 verses 18 through 20. |
| 0:44.8 | Now Jesus has been enjoying the Passover meal with his disciples. |
| 0:49.7 | He's just washed their feet and he's just taught them that they are to serve each other. |
| 0:54.8 | They're to meet needs just like he does. |
| 0:57.9 | His washing their feet is the example of the kinds of things there to do. |
| 1:02.8 | And then he says they are clean because they've had the opportunity to place their faith |
| 1:09.4 | in him. |
| 1:10.4 | So he's talking spiritually on from the inside out they're clean. |
| 1:14.6 | Then here in verse 18 he makes a little caveat and he does so to show exactly who he is |
| 1:22.0 | and friends this is a great lesson for us as we seek to follow Jesus. |
| 1:27.2 | In verse 18 he says, I am not speaking of all of you. |
