I want to share with you a comment that I recently got on the Walking-Fitness

who this is, they don't leave a name. I can attest to the idea of setting small goals. When I

started, I weighed well over 300 pounds, and walking a mile took me 28 minutes.

Walking was difficult. It was painful and boring. I hated every step.

I made a small commitment to walk every day no matter what. That was it. No goal for time. No goal for distance. Just take a walk for my fitness every

day, rain or shine. I was able to keep that commitment for many months. Now, almost nine months

later, I'm at 260 pounds. I walked three miles this weekend in 51 minutes.

Small steps add up.

You don't need to get discouraged.

Just get back on track tomorrow if you miss a day.

Consistency is important.
