It is my honor and privilege to be first in this beautiful stone chapel

of Holy Trinity, which is my home parish.

my dear friend Trudy Boynton, 75 years young,

we're celebrating her birthday tonight.

So thank you for honoring me to come and pray with you. Let us begin by

calling to mind that we are ever in the presence of Almighty God in whom we live and

move and have our being.

We call upon Him in the name of the Father and of the Son

and of the Holy Spirit, amen.

We offer this Rosary for Trudy for her birthday, for two special intentions, Christian for his recovery,

for a priest friend of mine for all priests, and for our trips to Houston and Baton Rouge. our title tonight,

We live in an age of unprecedented information access,

well at the same time we live in an age of unprecedented truth

crisis.

We have plenty of news, but we don't know what's true. Further, there seems to be a concerted effort to keep it that

way. Jesus' words in the sermon on the mount take on unprecedented importance.
