Hi moms, this is Heidi St. John. I'm going to be continuing our conversation about friendship

today by giving you the second of three points about friendship. Now yesterday we spent

some time talking about some things that every friendship needs, and we started with trust

as that's foundational to every relationship. But the next thing that I think is foundational

to friendship is grace. It's grace. Now I have been in my life and I wrote about this

in the busy home school mom's guide to daylight. I also wrote about it in my book about marriage.

I have been a very, I'm sad to say, ungracious friend over my over the course of my life.

I would love to tell you that I've done everything perfectly, but the truth is, as I have

been caught up, especially in the early parts of my life in legalism, and there is a lot

of ungraced, filled dogma out there. And I think oftentimes as Christian women, especially,

we can take something that's important to us and turn it into a dogma. And this is

the enemy again who comes in like that snake. You know, I keep thinking about walking with

the Lord as a sort of road that I'm on. And there are two different ways that I can walk
