by our very own Max Cohen after talking to dozens of Democrats who they find themselves in a very

different position than Republicans who have

ousted speakers who've had contested gavels, but progressives are now lining up behind

Hakeem Jeffries as the next speaker. If House Democrats win the majority in November, despite

the anti-establishment fervor sweeping over the party base.

This might be different, Anna, than, it might feel different from Republicans who basically

get into holy war anytime they take power about who is going to take over the role as the

top House Republican. I mean, we don't have to go through all of them, but Bainer, McCarthy, Johnson,

it seems at many times that every House Republican is against their leader. In the House Democratic

caucus, the far left wing of the Democratic caucus is lining up behind Jeffries. And Max talked to a lot of

people, you know, leading House progressives across the board who are all saying, yeah, we're for Jeffries. And Max talked to a lot of people, you know, leading House progressives across the

I've had people say to me, if Democrats win the majority, Jeffries is going to win unanimously.
