Hey there, my friends. I wonder have you ever been to a counselor, ever gone to someone,

to offer perspective on your life and give you wisdom from God's word, perhaps, and what you should do in the circumstances of your life.

I have received counsel from many people throughout my days.

My wife in particular is a very good counselor and has helped me tremendously.

Well, I want you to keep that idea of a counselor in mind as we dig into our scripture today.

We're looking at Romans chapter 11 versus 34 through 36.

Lord God, we want to understand your thoughts as we read your word.

May we not pour into it the meaning we think it has but rather draw out of it the meaning

you intended for us to receive.
