There are lots of people on the right at the minute that seem to think that widespread societal collapse is incoming or at least on the cards and probable and worth thinking about and I think it is worth considering because as a man I always think about this sort of thing because it's you know

It's one of those things that you always play in your mind is what would I do if everything collapsed and you kind of intuitively find yourself thinking about that,

which is part of the reason, of many reasons that I enjoy things like survivalism,

bushcraft and prepping, as well as I enjoy it just for its own sake.

But it is useful to be prepared.

However, I think that this is unlikely and I think this is a very, very important question to address really because people call to mind things like general lawlessness

mass migration increasing cost of living on working families and a whole host of other things

Lots of issues. I'm not going to list them all off. It's basically all the things we cover on the podcast, right? So I'm sure you as a viewer, if you watch as regularly, are familiar with them. I'm not going to bore you and patronize you with going over it all. But these things are used as evidence of an impending collapse and that's one perspective on it potentially and there's certainly big problems and I'm not undermining how significant they are. I think that yes they're very concerning.

I think everyone on the right pretty much agrees with me on that. I just think that there's another explanation to this one that I commonly see, at least commonly see online anyway.

And I'm not necessarily saying I'm right and everyone else is wrong.

You know, I can't predict the future and nor can anyone else so the future is uncertain but I just want people to bear this in mind

Just so people know how much weight to attribute their view of the world, right?

That there are these competing perspectives because I just don't see them.

So, you know, even if you disagree with me, I hope you can appreciate the fact that I'm raising some potential counter arguments and it's just

worth considering so you can attribute how much weight to give your own ideas.

Yeah, my position on this is kind of somewhere somewhere

somewhere in the middle sensible centrist of course and that is that I don't I mean there

there are those who genuinely think that like all the sort of authority structures are

going to collapse and it's literally going to be like the road or like a sort of zombie apocalypse type

society like society scenario where we are literally like walking in the streets with weapons and people are just attacking each other and it's just like

anarchy. I don't think that's anywhere close to happening. I think it's absurd. I very much agree with you, yeah.

However, I do think that there isn't, there is a certain certain element particularly in the male brain that does kind of want that in a certain extent
