What is your value?

I want you to really think about that.

You are more than 20 an hour, 30 an hour, 15 an hour, now, 100 an hour.

You are more than that, aren't you?

Please say that.

So last week I mentioned how I've never really wanted a career.

Like, really never.

And many of you actually resonated, which I love because it made me feel so seen.

And it's not because we don't like want to work hard or not because we don't care about success.

No, we're actually motivated, passionate individuals,

but because the idea of binding ourselves to one path,

one title, one definition for who we are for the rest of our lives,

just has never made sense to us, right?

It has never made sense to me.

You know, they say a career is supposed to define you. It's supposed to

give you a sense of purpose, direction, security. And yes, it can do all of that. But what if we don't

need a career for those things? You know, what if you can work hard, be successful, and build

a life of meaning without ever fitting ourselves into these boxes and frameworks

that really never aligned with us from the beginning. And I know I'm not alone because I know

some of you just resonate with that too. That deep knowing that you're not meant to spend 30 years

locked into something that drains you. Maybe you've even argued with your family about it,

not because you don't want to be successful again, but because their definition of success

...
