Look, I've learned sometimes the hard way that nothing in Trump world happens in a vacuum.

Not the statements, not the silences, and certainly not the sudden pivot to war footing.

When I read the headlines about Iran, when I hear the chess thumping rhetoric and the carefully staged defiance, I don't just see geopolitics.

I see a pattern.

I see a man who has always understood that conflict, wheel or manufactured, can be repurposed as political oxygen.

And I've seen this movie before, not with missiles and military assets,

but with narratives, with distractions, with the deliberate flooding of the zone so that no one

quite can pin down where the truth ends and the performance begins. Because for Donald Trump,

the line between governing and campaigning was never just blurred,

it was erased entirely.

So when tensions rise with Iran at the exact moment the political pressure mounts at home,

I don't ask if it's coincidence, I ask who benefits.

You see, the question is, is this about deterrence or is it about

dominance? Dominating a new cycle, dominating a base that thrives on displays of strength,

dominating a political environment that has started to slip from his grip. Because make no mistake, Trump doesn't just react to crises.

He uses them. He reshapes them. And when necessary, he amplifies them until they serve his

purpose. But here's the part that should keep us up all at night. While the spotlight is

fixed overseas, while we're all watching the escalation, trying

to decipher the endgame, something quieter is happening back home, something far less visible
