I'm John Ledgird, your host on a Monday morning, excited to kick things off on a game week

for the first time since the Steelers playoff loss to the New England Patriots last January,

this past January, we are in a game week. And we will get to the matchup with the Cleveland

Browns later on in the week more extensively. But we got to talk about the cuts from this past weekend,

right? We've got to talk about the roster moves, some of the changes that are happening there.

The Steelers obviously opting to do a couple of things I don't think we expected with the cuts.

Cutting now Davis and Fitzgerald Tucson.

That was interesting.

Charles Watson wins that job, bringing Tucson back on the practice squad, a good move.

Cutting, oh, keeping Xavier Grimble.

That was a little bit of a surprise in cutting David Johnson.

Didn't see that coming because, you know, they talked a lot, Tomlin had talked a lot
