edition of Locked On Steelers. It is a Wednesday afternoon, early afternoon, but we are looking ahead

to week one in real football. I personally cannot wait. It is going to be a more eventful

week one matchup than I think a lot of us would care to admit in Pittsburgh. Cleveland, as much as we

want to poke fun and say the Browns and you know this and that and talk about the droughts

that have gone on there. The reality is that this team's moving in the right direction and I know

it's Cleveland and I know people will say well they might be moving in the right direction but it

doesn't mean they'll ever get all the way there and and that's true that remains to be seen but

at the very least they're a more competitive football team than they were last season. I know that might not be saying much, but this is a group that rebuilt on the offensive side of the ball. This is not a group

the same offensive line that the Steelers thrashed for however many sacks it was last year when

they played the Browns, both matchups really, taking advantage of an offensive line that was just

absolutely overwhelmed in every sense of the word. I think this is a

much, much improved unit. I mean, obviously Joe Thomas back for another year has been the strength

of that unit for a long time. But Joel Betonio, getting him back at the left guard spot, huge. J.C.

Treader when he's healthy and he is right now as a stud center. I think Kevin Zeele is one of the best guards in the game.

Wright tackles where the real weaknesses is right now Sean Coleman in that spot.

They don't have much depth.

The depth is really poor.
