Considering such, it's surprising we've taken so long to do an episode about Roast.

Roast, whose roots stayed back over century with New York's Friars Club, is a joke writer's

medium. Though most people associate them with meanness, which is undeniably a part of it,

Gross jokes give the best comedians an opportunity to succinctly pack so much insight and personality into the least amount of space.

Even more than monologue jokes which are inherently reactionary, each roast joke tends to be a distillation of hours or research and analysis.

That's why I'm so so excited to have as our guest this week.

One of the best to ever do them, comedian, post a view up on Comedy Central radio, Mickey Glazer.

After proving herself with the Comedy Central Rose of Rob Lo, Nicky truly separated herself

and defined a style all to her own with a rose of Bruce Willis earlier this year.

This episode we talked about all that went into each one of her jokes from that night.

It's a lot.
