editor and publisher. First to the positive news in Nigeria, a visit by Megan and Harry Sussex,

the Prince Harry, was fetted as he arrived in Nigeria.

The excitement was real. We see that the Sussex

were provided with air transport all over Nigeria and enjoyed their trip.

However, I knowed that for some time, Gregory, we've been watching Nigeria

in terms of the President Tanubu and his lack of vigor. So with the Sussex is celebrated,

at the same time Nigeria is not stable

in the part of Africa that's not stable,

or has there been a sudden improvement?

There has been no sudden improvement in the domestic security and economic position in

Nigeria. I had significant meetings with very, very senior Iranian, sorry, Nigerian

officials in London just before I boarded the ship here. And what was interesting was that the visit by Megan Markle and Prince Harry was warmly received

by the government of President Ternubu largely as a distraction.

But there was a genuine feeling among the Iranian population, again, sorry about that, the Nigerian population, that they welcomed Harry and Megan.

Largely because Megan's DNA tests showed that she was something like 46% Nigerian in origin.

So they felt this is one of us.

And by the way, much the same as the Australians keep reporting news of the Queen of Denmark because she was an

Australian before she married the Crown Prince of Denmark and there's now Queen of Denmark.

So the Australians pay a particular homage to

her just as the Nigerians are now very proud that the wife of Prince Harry is

someone with a Nigerian connection.
