Uh, Nigel Ung. Ung. But they might be giant song. It's spelled the same and pronounced the other way.

Yeah, it's complicated because there are people with my last name and they grew up in the west

so they go with the anglicized pronunciation. But if you actually speak the dialect of Mandarin,

that my name is based on, then it's um. So it's, it's, there's no right answer.

So my guest today is Nigel Ung. Now, I want to, I want to get it right, but I had thought,

oh, I know that they might be giant songs, so I'm going to nail this. And then, of course,

I got it, of course, I got it wrong. So for people who don't know you because, uh, I guess a lot

of the people to listen to my, the podcasts are people within probably 15 years of my age,

though a lot of young people listen to, but and they might not know you're a comedian,

you're also someone who has come to enormous popularity through social media on TikTok and YouTube

by portraying this character, Uncle Roger. But what, and I've become a real fan of yours. But,

uh, when I decided that I wanted to ask you to have this conversation, it was in the shadow of

what happened to you this year, which, you know, over the past year. Um, like, I thought the

grace with which you handled getting attacked on the street, I mean, like in the same year that

your whole life exploded in a positive way was really kind of the way you handled it and expressed

it. I thought it was very beautiful and brave. And, um, and so I wanted to start by just asking like

how you, how you are, like, how are you managing all the different emotions, um, of where you find

yourself in life? And then also in the shadow of the, you know, getting jumped in the, in the way
