to a couple of famous kids. This past weekend, I was in Cedar Falls, Iowa, speaking at the

Riverview Conference Center. In fact, Crawford and Brian Larritz were there earlier in the week

speaking as well. I met a couple of amazing kids there, and I promised to say hi to them on the air because they listen to Faith Radio sometimes.

So, Chloe and Max, a big shout out to you.

You're adorable, and you have an amazing mama.

Well, today we're going to talk about having tough conversations with those you'll love. And I wonder if you have ever known such a time I don't think I ever have,

where we have so many points of contention among some of our closest relationships, to Vax or not

to Vax, to mask or not to Max, to be a Democrat or Republican, reformed or Armenian, pre-trib or post-trip.

You know, we're not going to settle any of these issues today, but we hope to equip you

to have some of these uncomfortable conversations without destroying the relationship.

So here's a question. Do you run away from tough conversations? Do you avoid them all together? Do your emotions get the best of you? Or do they get ahead of you? We're going to talk about all those things. My guest today says this, and I read it before last time she was on, but it's worth

repeating. There's a moment in your conversation that can change everything, a moment when you can

either move toward the other person or away from them, choose to break a negative cycle or continue
