A lot of fun baseball news from last night. First of the Nationals 1-7-5 over the Cubs

in the first game of that series, both Jamer Candelario and Kieber Ruiz, not two run homers

in the win. For the Pittsburgh Pirates, they had not won but two debuts last night.

Ketcher and Yvonne Rodriguez and pitcher Quinn pressed her both made their MLB debuts. They

became the first debuting starting battery for the Pirates since 1943. And if you want to feel

really old, they also became the first starting battery born in 2000 or later. A great story,

but don't look at the final score up in Pittsburgh because these two are very much

still looking for their first win. And Shohei Otani was very excited to hit his 35th

homework last night. So excited. In fact, that he flipped his bat so hard, it did five rotations
