Hello everyone, welcome back to the Epic Gardening podcast.

We are back with farmer Nick himself, the plant man.

He does a lot of different things.

He is a plant coach.

Maybe we'll talk about that a little bit, Nick, because I think that's probably an interesting

moniker for some people, urban farmer, community gardener, all sorts of different things he's

got going on.

One thing that you're big on, Nick, is sustainability and how can you reduce your waste and not consume

things you don't need to consume and repurpose things that you have consumed.

Of course composting is a piece of that.

It's easy for me to compost because I've got like three different ways I can do it on

a big house, right?

But if you're in that 600 square foot apartment, like you mentioned, what's something

that's practical that someone will actually be able to do?

Composing in a small space is difficult.

I know folks who have brought the whole vermicomposting system inside, which I don't think my roommates

personally would go for.

I don't think many people listening might go for it.

Yeah, it's a lot.

It's a lot.

But I think there's a few different things you can do and some different kind of approaches

to it that I think are very effective.
