There we go. Now we're live. I figured out the technical difficulty. All right, ladies and gentlemen, happy Friday. I'm actually here in Nashville. We're going to be speaking at the Safari Club International later this evening. I'm looking forward to that. Somebody asked me to describe this. I'm like, so from what I see, it's like if you've ever been a shot show, it's like shot show, but for hunting, and it's, it's epic. So I'm really looking forward to it. But today, look, I can't believe some of the stuff that's actually jumping up in my feet, whether it's on X Instagram, doesn't matter. It just, it has gotten bizarre. It's just gotten bizarre. And I know we've all heard this before.

0:38.9

I know we've all seen this before, but I decided to pick 10 things today that I just want to take a look at and just go over a little bit. You know, the whole, the whole theme of this show is making the argument. And so that's what we're going to do. We're going to look at some of the statements. We're going to look at some of the comments.

0:53.1

We're going to look at some of the policies that have been transpiring.

0:55.5

We're going to go ahead and make the argument.

0:56.9

So let's go ahead to look at some of the statements. We're going to look at some of the policies that have been transpiring. We're going to go ahead and make the argument. So let's go ahead and

0:57.9

look at the first one here. This is going to be out of Virginia. So for those of you who I don't know,

1:06.0

who've been in a hole lately or you're just happy enough to not constantly see the news,

1:12.0

Virginia is in the midst right now of just trying to turn itself into California. And it's very depressing. And one of

1:19.1

probably just the most frustrating individuals in the Virginia House of Delegance is a man named

1:24.4

Dan Helmer. Now, Dan Helmer is a West Point graduate, served in Iraq

1:28.5

in Afghanistan, as I think an armor officer and then an Intel officer. And there is nobody that

1:33.8

wants to take your guns in Virginia more than Dan Helmer, which again is a little bit bizarre to me,

1:40.5

because I also served in Iraq. And what I thought was interesting is Dan and I both

1:46.4

served in Iraq, which means I went over to Iraq and I saw what happens when an authoritarian

1:53.2

regime systematically disarms people and then either oppresses them. And then when you

1:59.9

overthrow the dictator, then they get oppressed by criminals and terrorist organizations that they don't have the means to defend themselves. So I looked at all that. I'm like, wow, that's a really bad idea. And Dan apparently looked at it and said, this would be great as long as I was in charge. By the way, Dan Helmer is also the guy that helped actually gerrymander this new map in Virginia.

2:19.0

We'll show you that later.

2:20.3

And you'll notice this strange little carve out in the map.

2:23.3

Like, it's already a strangely drawn map.

2:25.7

But there's this one little part where it dips up and it captures a neighborhood.

2:29.8

Oh, it's Dan's neighborhood because that was part of his deal on helping don scott take control

2:34.8

of the democrat caucus as he gets to run for congress and actually you know maybe win this time since

...
