Later on in this episode, we're going to look at some complicated issues surrounding crisis text line.

You may have heard me list crisis text line in the credits of

this show as somewhere that you can turn if you're in crisis, along with the phone number for the

National Suicide Prevention Lifeline. But I have paused the habit of putting the text line in the

credits lately because there was some controversy about it involving

some privacy issues. I wanted to fully consider that situation and learn as much as I could

about it. This week, we look into that controversy so we can all understand it. We'll also

have a meditation moment, but first, watching stuff on TV. There's a new television show premiering on Netflix

that deals very heavily with depression, anxiety, rage issues, postpartum depression,

a variety of mental health topics. It takes a carefully considered approach. It was made

in consultation with psychologists and psychiatrists.

It also happens to feature monsters who have sex in the break room of an office where they work,

and it has creatures like shame wizards, depression kitties, and anxiety mosquitoes.

The show is called Human Resources.

It's a spin-off of the Netflix animated show Big Mouth,

which is a comedy about the painful awkwardness of puberty.

It can get very graphic in language, pretty gross at times.

It's really funny and smart.

It's well made. It's animated.

It's not meant for kids.
