Good morning and welcome to the Independent Republic of Mike Graham right here on

talk radio as the summer ebbs away and we are now only 84 days from Brexit as the crow flies.

We are celebrating today by having Nick De Dubois in the studio taking your calls.

Nick is a former Tory MP and was the Chief of Staff for Dominic Raab when he was Brexit Secretary in Theresa May's government.

He knows how the European negotiators work and he'll give us an insight into what they're likely to do next.

Now that Michael Gove is also blaming the EU for being intractable.

Michael Goh says he's feeling very sad. Well there may be reasons for that Michael, which we won't be getting into

on this particular show. It certainly looks as though the cracks are beginning to show already

though on the Remainer side. Ireland's Tao Teashok Leo Varabke has now moved his position

from no new negotiations, which is what he said only a few weeks ago.

So the possibility of them, if the UK, in his words, drops its red lines on Brexit.
