My guest this week is the songwriter, singer, professional conversationist, Nick K. And

the latest version, the Pay the Bad version of his book Faith Hope and Carnage, has just

been released, which is based on a series of conversations with Shauna Hagen, the writer

and journalist. And I have to admit to being a little nervous about this interview because

it begins and ends with Nick's disdain for the interview. It's lovely to be here, lovely

I mean, you've actually been in the news in the last few days because of the coronation.

You have this blog in which you answer people's questions, comments, and some of them

would ask you about going to the coronation and you'll reply to lighted huge numbers

of people because it was candid and clear.

Yeah, I've had the blog for, or the Red Hand files, it's called, for about, I don't know,

maybe four years or so now. And mostly it's done in good faith. I get a lot of people

writing in and asking questions on all sorts of different things, beyond music, I would

say.

So that's around grief. There's a certain agony, aren't aspect to it, but occasionally

something happens which causes the sort of eye of people. And the coronation was one

that there was a certain amount of people that were writing and saying, why are you going

to the coronation? And I got a lot of amongst all the shrill horror of me going to the coronation

by a lot of people who wrote back into the Red Hand files. We then embedded within that,
