Whatever it is doing to you, it might be driving you slightly insane.

The best place to be currently is inside an air-conditioned car or indeed an air-conditioned

studio, which is where we are this morning.

Good morning to you. Thank you very much for joining us. So, do you like me share the view that

we're not actually going to run out of food? It's got sort of the Brexit panic written all over at

this story, hasn't it? I don't think we've pinged so many people that we're not going to able to buy a loaf of bread and a tin of salmon. Do you? Well, I think the whole pandemic thing

has become an incredible nonsense. And particularly, as the government says, you know, we're on the 16th

of August if you're pinged, you don't need to isolate. Well, you know, has the bug who received

notice that on the 16th of August, everything's

going to change? If it's okay on the 16th of August, then it's okay now, given the huge vaccination

rate. So, I mean, I think the pandemic is doing huge damage. I mean, let me give you a very

quick example. I was in a hairdresser salon sat in solitary spender. Nobody else in the

salon. I assumed it was COVID security, but no, it was because everybody, apart from the owner

and one of the apprentices had been pinged until they must isolate and couldn't go into work.

And the customers were also ringing up saying they've been pinged.

So they couldn't have come in.

So it has got beyond a joke.
