Week 7, almost done.

I'm Steve Weich here with James Palmer.

We were both at really good games yesterday.

You had the Chiefs increasing their lead in the AFC West. I was at the

Steelers Rams game as they won that game. And JP, let's kind of bring before we get started here,

people into our world pregame some of the conversations and some of the things we notice

when we're on the field hours before kickoff doing our job. I like the use of hours, Steve, because I believe I have arrived at Arrowhead on Sunday morning at about 7 a.m. for a 325 kickoff. So I have plenty of time on the sideline. Boo-hoo. No, no, no. I was there a long time, and I could be there even longer. I love Arrowhead. And it was maybe the most beautiful day Kansas City has ever had. It was gorgeous. Well, I'm standing in the, right outside the visiting tunnel, talking to Keenan Allen, just kind of watching him catch these balls over his shoulder, one after another ball over his shoulder. And I go, you're doing this to get your, the perception of it, right? To see the ball in each stadium? And he's like, you got to know exactly how it looks in every stadium, baby. And these red seats are not nice to catch against. And I was fascinated by that, Steve, just a receiver spending a ton of time. The same way an outfielder might go out there and just throw balls against a wall in a visiting stadium in Major League Baseball, just to see, you know, how the ball comes off the wall. He's sitting there seeing how the seats would impact how he sees the football. What goes on pregame maybe is more elaborate than a lot of people think, especially with quarterbacks. It really is, J.P. I mean, part of what we do and part of our jobs is to see little things, little nuances. Like you will see players actually go walk to certain parts of the field,

like how basketball players will dribble on the woods to see dead spots, they'll go see if

there's a soft spot in the turf or if there's artificial turf, if there's a pile up of the rubber

pellets in a heavier part of the field than where they are in the other part of the field.

It's a true science and it's smart.

I mean, and that's why these guys really know exactly what part of the field they can do certain

things and what part what they can. But we got to start to show off with the game of the week,

James. That was Sunday night with a Philadelphia Eagles where they came in and they did a muscle flex, an

AJ Brown style muscle flex in the second half of the game to shut down the high flying Miami

Dolphins.

I'm not going to say, AJ Brown.

They were in Kelly Green, so I'm going to say what, Jerome Brown maybe?
