My name's Andrew Spade, joined by Jake Burns. We recorded this

episode on Monday, broke it into two parts, included the reaction to the Andrew Barry press

conference in the first episode that you've already listened to by this point. But we also

had some stuff here where we talk about some of the other firings around the NFL, some of our other NFL thoughts, and we wanted to get that one out to you as well. So there's a few things here that maybe sound a little bit dated because we didn't record it on Tuesday or even Wednesday we recorded on Monday, but I think this content for the most part still holds up. So I hope you enjoy that. I'm going to pass it over to Jake right now and ask him how he's doing. I'm,

you know, going insane. It's Christmas break is over. The kids are supposed to be back at school.

It's a snow day in Columbus, nasty weather. We're trapped inside again. Uh, you know, it's good and bad with that. Certainly remember snow days fondly for my childhood and getting to hang out, play video games all day or do whatever you want, get out maybe running the snow for a little bit. Our dog is definitely, and my brother-in-law's dog, who's here have enjoyed frolicing, coming in with the frosty beards, all of that fun stuff. But, um,

listen, I'll say it this way. I don't often get to this point, but I'm ready for the

regular grind to step into place again. Let's put it that way. But otherwise, man, we are hanging

tough. How are you, buddy? I'm doing good. Definitely having some, I guess,

FOMO or whatever about, uh, the snow day thing because I'm living in North Carolina.

And as of a few years ago,

it doesn't snow here anymore.

So I think this area is going on like over a thousand days without measurable snowfall,

at least in the Asheville area and then like down into Charlotte.

So it's one of the longer streaks in recorded history. It just typically will snow here every other year at least. And it's just the whole time I've been here. There's a chance next weekend that we might get some. But you mentioned to me earlier that the kids were on a snow day and I was just reflecting. We're a little bit different in age. I don't know if it was the same for you. For me, when I would have a snow day in the morning, it would be, like, I've never in my life

have I been a wake up with the radio on guy. But when I was in high school, I was a wake up with

the radio on guy specifically in the winter months because I just wanted to know if there was any chance that I

didn't have to go to school that day. It was one of the best parts of my life at that point was
