Thank you. What's up, guys, before we get over to the main podcast today, I want to talk with you about Mike Blunkren, who the Browns hired is their offensive line coach.

Andrew and I recorded talking about the offense, really reshaping it, what it needs to get back to a little bit of what it was, but obviously modernizing it in 25 and who we think can help with that,

really focusing on offensive coordinator candidates toward the end a little bit, but really just

what we want to see within it and then

kind of some names. But anyway, the Browns made a decision after we recorded to hire Mike

Bloomgreen out of nowhere, as you guys know, kind of caught everybody by surprise. We hadn't heard of

any interest, any, you know, collective interviews, anything. So yeah, it caught us all by surprise.

But what I've tried to do is study up on

Bloomgren as best I can and figure out the appeal, the draw to the decision to bring him in

quickly, right? The Browns didn't waste any time in this move. So on the surface, I think people will

look at what he has done and we'll sort of put know, put them in a, put Mike in a very

small box about like looking at his success as a head coach at Rice and he hasn't been in

the NFL very long, et cetera, et cetera. So I think if you look at the service level of like

his head coaching career at Rice, 24 and 52, you're probably underwhelmed. You think he's only been really around the college game and he hasn't been around the NFL for a long time. And all of that, I mean, on the surface is true. But if you kind of trace it, you know, through what he's done where he's been, you can see where the Browns are drawn to his, you know, his ability. So there have been some things I've listened to. I'm going to write this up as well, kind of looking at what he has done where he's been. So if you trace a little bit of where he's been, what he's done, he played college football. We played high school football down in Florida, then went over to Culver Stockton College, played some tight in there in Missouri is where that is located. But anyway, graduated back

at Florida State University and obviously a very smart guy, Magnicumlade guy, and this is going to

play into where he's been and where he's coached. And so he gets done there and then he gets a

student assistant job, undergrad assistant job with the Florida State program. And so he gets done there and then he gets a student assistant job,

undergrad assistant job with the Florida State program. So like he is around Florida

...
