| 0:18.7 | Welcome to the NFL fantasy football show. It's me, your man, M.G. Marcus Grant, joined by Michael F. L. Florio and the specialist cast of dozens that was put on this show each and every week. Of course, the World Cup is underway. We'll have some World Cup theme stuff going on. I know you're not, you're not necessarily a big soccer fan, but you got to be at least kind of USA'd out for this thing right? This is about maybe not apparel wise. Yeah so this is about as USA'd out as I could get unless you wanted me to wear a bunch of bills gear looking like a homer after beating the Browns. I'm not a big soccer guy but you know it's fun to cheer on USA and and it's more like everyone in office is very excited for it. So I'll be like, yeah, go USA. Right, just get swept up in the whole emotion of it. It's all about, you know, USA. It's always USA versus the world. But now it's especially USA versus the world for the next month. We got plenty to talk about. We'll have our five biggest takeaways from week 11, some waiver wire targets. Plus, we will talk about some players that could get you, hopefully, into the fantasy playoffs and maybe even help you win it once you get there. |
| 1:17.4 | But let's start with some fantasy headlines in big news out of Chicago. |
| 1:23.2 | Justin Fields suffered a left shoulder injury on the bear' final drive Sunday against the Atlanta Falcons. |
| 1:29.5 | Now, Fields finished the game, but afterwards told the media that he's in a good amount of pain. |
| 1:34.8 | He is expected to get an MRI on Monday. |
| 1:37.3 | The Bears are in New York to take on the Jets next week. |
| 1:41.7 | Justin Fields has been amazing. |
| 1:43.3 | He has been the QB1 over the last few weeks. |
| 1:45.7 | He's done a whole lot for that offense. If he misses time, what does this mean for the bears |
| 1:50.1 | in their fantasy prospects? Stay far away. Like, if Justin Fields is gone, I don't, |
| 1:57.0 | David Montgomery would be in play because there's no Khalil Herbert there and volume. I just anticipate he would get something like 20 plus touches. But outside of that, I wouldn't want Darnell Mooney. I wouldn't want Cole Commet. First of all, I already want to stay away from as many bears this week outside of Fields as possible because they're playing the Jets. Darno Mooney's going to get sauced. I mean, it's going to happen. But I just, if field sits, I think this becomes an offense that you play the starting running back and you get away from everything else. Well, and even in that case, I would still be worried about Montgomery. You mentioned the volume. That's sort of the saving grace there. But if he becomes the only thing you really have to worry about, then it becomes |
| 2:35.0 | harder for him to run the football as well. Just at a point when I felt like Montgomery was back |
| 2:39.8 | to sort of being a fringe RB1 with no Khalil Herbert. This potentially throws a wrench in that |
| 2:45.1 | whole thing. Bad news out of Atlanta, and this just came down just before we started recording |
| 2:50.4 | this show. |
| 2:51.4 | Kyle Pitts is believed to have suffered a torn MCL against the Bears that would require surgery. |
| 2:57.2 | This news comes after an MRI today. |
| 3:00.1 | Also comes via our own Ian Rappaport. |
