Continuing our look into the 2021 running back class. Let's get a little bit deeper after we did the top five last week. Here's Emory Hunt on fantasy football today in five.

We're giving me the fantasy news and advice you need to know in five minutes or less,

but focusing on running back prospects here.

So first question for you, you know, you gave us your top five last week.

Is this a deep running back class?

What do you think?

I think it's a deep running back class in terms of guys that

are going to be solid RB2. So, you know, guys that can really be complimentary backs. There's a,

there's those three that I feel of those three or four that are about what I would consider

top in guys. But I think this class, you will find you an RB2, RB3 that can help balance out your roster. Okay. So let's start with number six. And that would be Khalil Herbert for you from Virginia Tech. You compare him to Aaron Jones. Give us a scouting report. Yeah, he's so fluid, man. I was at the Kansas Boston College game two years ago, and I was like, man, this dude that's behind Puka Williams, he's legit. So he's going to be my quote-unquote Power 5 sleeper. But then he had the grad transfer year and decided to leave Kansas, go to Virginia Tech, and blew up because he was the primary ball carrier because you saw the speed, you saw the elusiveness, you saw the explosiveness. So he also helps us as a returner. So for me, I was like, man, I'm glad he went to Virginia Tech to showcase his skill set because he had this while playing sidecar to Puka Williams two years ago. So is he in the group of RB2, RB3s, or do you think he can be more of a feature back

in the NFL?

This is Khalil Herbert out of Virginia Tech and Kansas.

I think he's on that borderline RB1, RB2.

So he's one that you can see start out as an RB2 and project to an RB1.

Because, again, this was his first full year of being the starter.

So I think he still has upside left in his game in that regard.

There's some areas where he has to get better.

But you love the speed.

You love the explosiveness.
