I'm Smith, but Elliot back again for another episode of The Noel Cast, but I have a bunch

of different things to kind of touch on tonight.

And they just acknowledge, I don't want to be melodramatic about this, but certainly

tonight's show, a little bit of the heavy heart with the passing of Geno Hayes late last

night.

Geno, we talked about them on the previous podcast, guy who suffering very significant liver

problems and ultimately left this earth late last night.

Very sad, sad, this one hit home for me a little bit more for whatever reason.

I think it's because he's just so young and taken from us so early.

Great player on a team that didn't have too many great players or great moments, but

as we mentioned, one of the better games I was seeing against Alabama, great moment in

Florida State, beating then number two Boston College on the road, just a sad day and

one open the podcast up with the acknowledgement of the lost Geno Hayes.

Completely agree, man.

It sucks, dude.

That was one of the first guys I actually remember covering for the Noles.

Dude, Madison County guy stayed local and was really a standout player for the Mike

Guy.
