Congruity Madison social Shannon and Chad Shannon and Chad the legendary team over there all the people that make it possible for us to have kind of rapid fire pods like the one we're about to have and bud. Let's jump into the commitment of one AJ Duffy.

0:44.1

Yeah, man, AJ Duffy top 100 player in the 24 seventh sports composite number six overall pro style QB. He's a guy back to be able to see twice. And as many months. In fact, I just saw him two Mondays ago now down at IMG Academy previously. I saw him at the lead 11 camp here in Orlando. So man, it does feel good to get back to talking about prospects that I've seen in person.

1:12.1

You know, like watching him on how it was fine and you can you can get a lot from looking at somebody's huddle but seeing how they hold themselves seeing how they're actually built.

1:21.1

Seeing how they throw the ball in person. I think there's there's something to that. I think floor stage getting a good prospect here. I don't know that he's quite as good as what the composite says, but he maybe he is right at 247. We have him as the number eight pro style prospect and the number 147 player nationally, which I should point out.

1:41.1

I should point out is still really good. And a team that has lost five plus games in the regular season for five straight years now typically doesn't sign quarterbacks in that range. And yet, if you looks like they will manage to do so, obviously assuming that they hold on to Duffy's commitment.

2:00.1

So anger misses a kid originally from California. He was a productive player in California as a sophomore, then COVID hit and not without getting political California just didn't basically have a season. And so AJ was fortunate enough, although also unfortunate because you got to leave your your friends and your family back home.

2:21.1

So, but he ended up transferring to I'm G Academy, obviously didn't get to play in the fall, but will be will be I'm G Academy starting quarterback this fall six foot two. I think he's like probably two 15 to 18ish.

2:39.1

Most of that, I think is good weight. He's not like, you know, cut up and ripped, but he's not he's certainly not chubby, right. So somewhere in the middle just, you know, certainly a thicker build that then he was a year or two ago.

2:57.1

He's not in the middle of the eight. I mean, what six, one, seven, eight, I think six, two. It's a good prospect. He's definitely a pro style dude. He's not immobile, but he's not not somebody who's the defense is really going to kind of fear his legs a whole lot.

3:12.1

To me, what he brings is the ability to get the ball out quickly. His release, I think, is is pretty solid. He has good velocity on his ball.

3:22.1

I think he did that he was more impressive to me. The day I was at IMG, then the day that he was at the elite 11 for whatever reason. I know he had been flying for the lead 11 stuff. So, you know, maybe some jet lag and whatnot.

3:37.1

And yet, I wrote our top performers for that day at a lead 11 and at this point, I thought he was going to Arizona state because that's where pretty much the entire industry believe that he had.

3:49.1

If not silently committed to maybe gave some real strong indications behind the scenes. And just so I'd let it bring no consistent here. I'm not changing my opinion of him, you know, after, after he ends up committing to have a shoe.

4:03.1

I had him as the number one quarterback at the elite 11 or land of event granted quarterbacks in Florida, typically suck. Right. The top two QBs at that event were not from Florida. It was AJ Duffy and then holding

4:15.1

Guarantee who's a Georgia kid who came down. Guarenders committed to Auburn by the way, but I thought I thought he was good. Just more advanced than the other quarterbacks there with some physical upside as well.

4:27.1

But at IMG, it was raining that day. It kind of sucked to shoot video. And I thought he did a very nice job throwing the football into tight windows.

4:36.1

And he's defense is really nuts and the first day he had worked with with his fellow receivers and pads for the most part. I thought he was putting the ball in the money.

4:45.1

And I came away with a higher opinion of him after the IMG practice that I got to watch.

4:51.1

Then I initially held of seeing him in person working out at the elite 11 event where he won the top performer award, at least according to me.

5:02.1

So yeah, man, that's kind of my the just on on what issue is getting.
